i'm looking for some basic fiberglassing ideas. i want to do a small job just to get a little exprience with fiber glassing... i have a 1994 saturn sl1, just so you folks know. i'd like to do an amp rack, but thats a little above my skilli (escepailly when it comes to cutting MDF, lol.) I've thought about maybe adding a pair of tweeters in my car or something... but like i said im still unsure! another thing i'd like to do is mold a touchscreen into my dash and runa car pc. but thats a big project for another day!

yeah, get yourself a nice little jigsaw (30 bucks at wal-mart max) a couple little pieces of MDF and just practice building a box first. Once you can build a good sealed box, step it up to fiberglass... Just remove the front or top of the box you just built and cutout a speaker ring, mount it, stretch the fleece and resin. then start adding glass if you like the shape. If not, pull off the resined fleece and start again til you like it, the only thing that really takes the most patience is applying the resin to the glass without getting it everywhere. good luck and have fun
