i am planning on doing a custom center console in my truck. the problem i am having is that my truck has vents going thru the center console and i want to keep them. any ideas?
what have others done?

You can replace the vents with flex tubing (looks like vaccum cleaner hose )so that you still retain the vents but you can custom fit it into your installation.

well do you know if the vents r attached to the center console?? you should check and see if you can take the tubing out of the center console.. if not your best bet would be to use some type of flex tubing and and then you can buy vents from places like billet specialties... they have ones from polished to black plastic looking ones.. but they could add a very nice touch to your console if they r molded in right
