I know wrapping a subwoofer enclosure with fleece before vinyl-wrapping would produce a smoother look.

Is this method better/more recommended than regular sanding?

If so, what adhesive would you use from the fleece/fabric to mdf/fiberglass. What adhesive from vinyl to fleece?

Sounds like a way to try to get out of sanding.

Do it right the first time and you shouldn't have to cover up anything with fleece.

If you wrap it in fleece then somewhere along the way youll have to deal with the bunch-up.

Sand it.

1lb batting works well too. Headliner foam will work as well if the box doesnt have crazy curves.
