I am in the process of making a fiberglass enclosure for my 10" subwoofer.  I made the car mold part out of a Cargroom brand fiberglass resin.   I also stretched the fleece over the mold over the speaker ring and used that Cargroom brand fiberglass resin on that also.  I need to start putting actual fiberglass over the hardened fleece but I am out of the Cargroom brand.  I went to Home Depot to get their Bondo HS All-Purpose Fiberglass resin(gallon size)

My question:  Is the Bondo brand of fiberglass resin that i got polyester resin? I talked to the place I got the Cargroom brand at and he said if the Bondo brand is Polyester then it should work fine with the other brand.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regardless it will work anyway.  The tiny hairs of fibeglass mesh together very well, so you should be fine!

alright well im 90% sure its a polyester resin. They both have the same Styrene monomer in it at 40-50%.  also i read that polyester is the most common used.  With the styrene being almost half of the whole compound in both, i cant see why it wouldnt be a polyester compound. am i right?
