What's up all...

Take a look at this door panel.  Basically what I'm going to do is make inserts that fit into the taped off area.

I literally just got done taping this panel.

I'm trying to figure out how I should make it.  Here is what I was thinking.

1. Using spray glue to secure fleece to the insert area, resin, bondo, and paint.
* The insert doesn't have to be strong at all.

2. Using spray glue to secure mat to the insert area, resin, bondo, and paint.

Basically, fleece or mat.  What do you think.

How much sanding are you willing to do? I probably would go fleece since you are just making simple inserts

Seeing that it's just it's just inserts, I would go directly to fiberglass matting and resin ( about 3 layers ) & then use small amounts of bondo to smooth it out.

Thanks Jeff,

That's what I decided to do.  Just using the fleece would have resulted in damaging the insert when I removed the mold.
