I am new to FG and want to start/try to do something with it, probably for my first project make some kick panels on my doors to hold some components that I have just sitting under my seat now. They sound good considering they are under the seat, but really now they can't stay there. Basically my questions are whats some CHEAP AND NECESSARY materials that I would need to buy just to get started, keep in mind I am a noobie and only trying some kick panels. I have been exploring around the forums and have some good ideas about fleece and skeletons, rings, and FG itself, but not tools of the trade them selves. Although I did find a great post on a FG suit and mask. Please everyones input would be great to get me headed in a general direction. Just hope you guys don't laugh and leave no replys haha.

Tools.... Well I guess the best tools to start with would be a router, sanding blocks/paper of various grits (50 - 220) spiral saw with various bits (preferred) or jig saw, drill with screw and drilling bits, polyester brush (for the resin), staple gun with 1/4" staples, putty knives of various sizes (for applying filler), and various glues (super glue, wood glue, and CA glue) to start with. And with each application, your set of tools most likely will change to suit the conditions needed to produce your item.

I know it's obvious, but a box of latex gloves, or other disposable gloves is a must. for 5 bucks you can get a box of 100 count at home hardware. but you're in the states, so that won't help you much.... but mabye some other Canadian will read this and be helped.
