hey guys this is my first post on this forum...im actualyl from caraudio.com...but id thouht id hit u guys up adn share the wealth ova here as well :)...here is my fiberglass box progress pics...enjoy, mor ewill be getting put up shortly, tell me what u think :-D

heres my amp JL 500/1

6 more coats of mat and resin later...

all the rings in place, the port is on the right, the mitsu emblem will be light up in red through the plexi with LED's

LOOKING VERY GOOD !!!! nice job my friend. . . I like the Logo Idea pretty bad @$$ right there.  keep working on it and keep the progress pics comin!!!

ilike the mitsubishi logo how did you cut it out, i was going to do the same thing with the router but the corners would have been rounded

Very nice work here so far. Like the emblem idea as well. Will look sick I am sure. Just make sure the plexi is sealed and TIGHT so you get no rattles. That would really suck ass after all the hard work. Can't wait to see the finish product.

MORE PICS GUYS!!! this is the sub and port finally positioned in my car...as u can see, not a whole lot of head clearnece from the sub ring ;)...the sub will be inverted once installed and teh metal brances will be removed

i hope you plan on reinforcing your rings before you wrap it, because i dont think your straping is going to be ridgid enough when you

stretch and get all the wrinkles out. i could be wrong, but just my experience you dont want those things moving when the glass is curing

i do  teh metal is only there for temp support theyll b peplaced by wodden rods later, the only reason i did that was because u can change the shape adn posisiton of those much better than u can with wood ;)
