i am making somthing for my speakers in my door of my 89 toyota and i was wondering how you get rid of the little bumps all over the body of the design what do i do to get rid of this?

try bondo? sand it, then cover with carpet, or sand it with fine grit, primer, paint and clear coat it.

Just a tip: 

when you spread the body filler, do sections at a time.

then mix some more, Or you'll get in over your head pretty quick.

I find it easier to mix a little light on the hardener so you can cover as much as possible in one coat. It makes it easier to get things straight when it comes time to sand. But like anything with practice you will find what works best for you.
