i would like a little more insight on using factory panels to build off of, such as say a rear door on a jeep liberty, these trucks are limited for space to begin with and i thought using the factory panel would be nice but not sure how to go about it.

Upload your pics to a photo hosting site, like photobucket.com, or imageshack.com, then come in here, hit the little square with the picture of the tree, and post the link of the picture, and voila!

I have not done it yet, but I plan on makeing a plug with the back of the panel, then a mold off that, then the final product. Don't know if that will work, but when I try it I will let you know. posted_image Just a idea to think about.

I cant edit so I will add what I forgot. If your talking about door panels it is a differant process. I will tell you how I was taught to do that if you need it.

copying the front side of a panel is easy....making it clip back into the facory spots is a little tricky though...

you can either copy the back side of the panel as well and sandwich them together, or you can copy the naked door and cut out the pieces you need and mold them to the back of your copied panel...then all you have to do is add the little tabs and spring clips where they need be and your set..
