Hey, I took a look at a previous post on here about how to make a 'shiney' dash via a combination primer and paint method, I intend to use this method, but I am having difficulties removing the dash on my '02 Hyundai Accent, anyone with any info? To the best I can see, I have removed all the bolts and screws, save for 5 around the right and left air vents, where they are more than akward to remove. any help on how to make room? And are there any clips or other items that arn't readaly viewable? I could, in theory, paint it in-car, masking other surfaces, but the job would be much easier and cleaner if the dash skin came out.
Thanks all for any and all help!

Well I dont know about the accent dashes...but with the thunderbird dash that we just removed it was a pain..after we removed all the bolts and clips we had to pull on the dash and find out where it was being held in place. THen we went and removed all the bolts that where still holding it in place and continued till we had them all out. Then after that we went and have it one good STRONG pull and it came out....It was especially hard around the steering column...good luck...that was just some insite on finding the additional bolts
thanks for the info, finding the bolts is relativly easy, not so easy is removing them from their less-than-accessable loations, but it is good to note it'll take a goodly pull to work it.
Yeah they definatly dont make the dash so that you can easily remove it. After you get out all of the bolts you should be able to give it a good yank and have it all come out. Once again good luck
