Howdy,

How would I go about, covering a plastic dash in leather/vinyl or suede/alcantra?

Would heatgunning it stretch it into all the nooks and crannies?

How could I finish the edges and seams?

What is recommended for padding, if anything?

Check out the bottom of this thread, He covered the top of his dash in vinyl. Hope this helps some.

Using a steamer will allow you to stretch leather or vinyl.
