ok this is pretty hard to explain and a harder process u basically have to have ur structure built like a box for it to come out it will be hard and not worth it cause in the long run the edges will crack from takening it out and itll look like crap so if u want something like that u have to sacrafice either have to keep touching up or lose ur trunk!!

ive seen guys get the encloser close enough to the weather stripping then take the encloser out and wrap plastic on the interior then place the encloser in and use kitty hair or fiberglass and build it up to the weather stripping.

It really doesn't matter if I can or can't take it out. I just felt it would be easier since if there's a problem you can take it out. Or when you have to paint it..

well i may be reading this wrong but, whats wrong with makeing it and getting it close to the edge, then do the plastic or tape trick and use something like kitty hair and smooth the edge up to the weather strip? you would still be able to pull it in and out, if you feather the edge up nice the weather strip should just slide over it like the oem plastic.

Remove the weather stripping from the trunk and mask off the entire trunk area where the weather stripping was. Have all the areas inside the trunk that you want to have showing framed with MDF( amps, subs or processors )  so that you can attach fleece to the frame and also to the masked off area of the trunk surround.

Place a large enough peice of fleece into the trunk so that it will cover the area where you have the framed up equipment and also enough to cover the trunk opening. Center the fleece in the trunk and attach the fleece to the MDF frames. Pull the fleece tight around the trunk surround and re-insert the weather stripping with the fleece underneath it. Pull tight where needed and then start appying your first layer of resin to the fleece. Only resin up to the weather stripping but do not touch the weather stripping. Do 2 layers of resin and this will give it enough strength to remove the weather stripping and still save the form of the trunk. Take more resin now and apply it to the area of the surround that did not have any resin on the fleece and after you have the fleece soaked in, take some plastic or Saran Wrap as a barrier between the weather stripping and the soaked fleece. Allow to dry and repeat process once again until the outer edge is hard enough. In the meantime start fiberglassing the area inside the trunk and use about 2-3 layer of glass to ensure proper strength for such a large area.

For the area that you have under the weather stripping, you can probably get away with 2 layers on the outside of the project and use another 2 layers on the backside of the project to add more strength. You don't want the outer edge of the project warping on you at this point otherwise you will need to cut and refiberglass sections.

The weight is about 48 lbs so shipping to Cali from Canada would be pretty expensive. Forbidden is the dude with the resin and it workes great, but shipping would probably make is equal out the same in the end compared to a local place you can get it at. Have you tried boating yards or marine repair shops ??
