I'm using Tee Nuts to mount my subs to the MDF ring on my box. A question for anyone who uses them...do you use anything to seal them around the threads or the hole they are tapped into? Gorilla snot, bondo, etc? Also, do you use anything like loctite to keep them from backing out or just lock washers?

i have use those countless times...and never had any air leak problems through the threads/ holes...mind you the sub i have moved from box to box has had a full rubber surround which pretty much seals itself once tighten down...

i have also never had the bolts back out either, i think lock washers may not fit into most of the surrounds either...

loctite will definately stop both air leaks and bolts backing out if your super concerned or find you are running into problems..
