Might as well try this question out here. My '64 chris craft is a mahogany hulled boat with a fibreglass superstructure. So the glass is 42 years old. I have tried & tried to fill/patch this one crack to no avail. Since wood is my more my thing than glass...Im asking. In the past I have used two part appoxy (the east system) & pain fibreglass mat. I ground about an inch on either side of the crack & even got some in behind the crack. Snad it all smooth & about a month later its back. The boat is on land & I guess it's a stress spot. Any better ways to approach the repair?posted_image

On Fibreglast under the books section, there is a book on boat repair. I hate to just send you over to a book, but it is written specifically for your issue.\

Hope that helps

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
