Im sure you guys have seen or watch the show Unique Whips. The suede the Remy uses to cover most of his boxes, is it that ultra suede that is thin and can buy at any fabric store is it the real leather type suede?

denverfabrics.com has ultrasuede which is really stain resistant, and probably very similar to "TekSuede". They also have what they call "passion suede" that is a little cheaper.

fiberglass reminds me of peanut brittle... but fiberglass tastes better!

The suede they use is actual Alcantara "panel" series, it has a good stretch to it. It is used for things like headliners, pillars and trim in many OEM applications.

It's not cheap though but it is the real deal so it has the UV protection that most faux suedes do not have.
