How do you guys use this stuff, any tips? Its blue in color and says heat activated vinyl adheasive. We have a quart of it. But I want to know the best way to apply it? I was told a sprayer? We have a big enough compressor and all the air lines but need the spray gun. Which one would you guys reccommend just for doing adheasives? How do you clean it when you are finished?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!

I watched the SelectProducts video before. I think he just uses a regular spray gun. It gets thinned out with acetone.

Incase you guys are interested, joann fabrics sells a high heat resistant headliner glue in a spreay can. I havent tried it but its gotta work well if you can use it for headliners.

That stuff is great.  I got a chance to use it at The Snake Pit.  It sprays out of a standard gravity feed gun, and cleans pretty well.  It holds great too, but you have to be careful not to ruin your fabric with the heat gun.

Whats a gravity feed gun go for? I'm not looking for anything fancy just a simple one for adheasives only. Also How do I clean the gun when i'm done run a cup of acetone through it? and spray it out the nozzle? Where can you buy gravity feed guns? THANK YOU!! What i've read so far was a big help!!

a gravity feed gun has the paint cup on top of the gun.  IMO it's the best because it has the best flow.  To clean it, you can either put some acetone in the gun and spray it out, or take the gun apart and clean it in a parts washer.

Investing a spray gun is good to do. The sooner the better.
