Hi, i have a kenwood KFC - W3003 subwoofer and i would like to put the sub into a bandpass box, i have searched the internet and many different forums for recommended bandpass enclosure dimensions but havent been able to find any, can anyone help? Thanks

kenwood does not list  the thiele small parameters for this woofer on there site.contact them at the link below. to design a proper band pass box we will need to know

hi, kenwood emailed me with the following specs for a bandpass box...

Bandpass enclosure for KFC - W3003 subwoofer,
rear chamber 2.64cu ft,
front chamber 2.0cu ft.
Port diameter of 4 inches, lenght of 6.2 inches
QTC=n/a, F3 is 27/70Hz, do not use fill/dampening.

can someone help me with the actual dimensions so i can start cutting wood :)

what are you putting this box in to ( car -suv - hatch back ) becaust it is going to be huge the simpleist build would make the box 56.75 / 12.75 / 12.75 that will give you a total of 4.66 cu.ft

Hi josh, the box is going into a E36 BMW, space isnt a issue :)
