could any one point me in the right direction of how i could even sgtart making an enclosure like this 
i have read through everything in this forum i can find and i do not get how he gets the downward contours using fleece and whatnot that is said like would it not just pull straight to the edge of a sub ring ? sorry if this is a dumb question but any help would be apretiated and also how mush fiberglass mat and resin i would need

This has nothing to do with answering your question, but I want to express some of my views about the "Sinister 6".
1: Bravo, to the technical feats performed on this car.
2: The guys that did the fabrication are nothing short of artists. True artists.
3: That's a lot of money dumped into that car...
4: It's impractical: I know it's a showcar, so this might not hold much weight.
5: That has GOT to be one of the BUTT-UGLIEST show/demo cars I have ever laid eyes on. The BMW 6 series is a beautiful car, and it was completely destroyed. My sentiments go to the designers in Germany, who worked long and hard building such a beautiful machine, only to have it bastardized. Shame on Alpine.
I don't want to hear how much you disagree with me. If you like it, good on ya, but this is a free country, and I am allowed my peace without repercussions. Post how much you like the car, not how much you disagree with me. This is only my opinion.

i agree i think it is an abomination to the 645 CI . but the build is awesome and ther is a lot that can be learned from this. i just hope that thay come up with some thing nicer this year like the previous demo cars. i still think the RSX is the nicest one yet because that car had one hell of an audio system and could still be used in an every day drive thank you haemphyst for speaking out on this out of control nonreal world demo car that was made from a car that i would give my left nut to have. ------------- bring back the rotary phone so i dont have to press 1 to proceed in english

well bliz im not 100% sure about this but it looks like who ever made this enclosure did a skeleton frame more than likly out of mdf. and didnt pull the cloth tight rather thay let it kinda droop down. thus giving you this look. kinda like building a box in your hatch area out of mdf just without the top on it. then covering/toping it with your fav. fabric. and glassing it. this link will give you the basics to enclosure building. https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=74519&PN=1 its pritty much the same thing just on a bigger scale. pritty much any shape is posible depending on how you stretch or do not stretch your fabric over your skeleton. again im not 100% sure on that enclosure but that is my best guess. p.s. if its a daily driver dont forget about your tail lights. in case of blown bulbs. also you will loose your spair tire space. ------------- give a man a fish he will eat for a day. teach a man to fish he will eat for a lifetime.

My fellow buddy, it is all in the frame work.
Look at the image you posted and "undress it with your eyes"
Imagine just the actual shapes on each of the areas. Take your time, and sketch out a similar skeleton or have a friend who is good at drawing if you are not to help you. after the skeleton is complete. The type of fabric you use and placement of pinpoint (staples) will finish off the actual look. Do not go crazy trying to make it look like it does in the above image. You can also use body filler to assist with the shape of things; although the less body filler used the better. [weight]

I agree with a few people in here. Melted Fabric was right, it is all in the framework. That always determines your final shape minus body-filled shapes and contours. Take your time in this step and make sure it is the shape you want before laying down the glass and realizing "this is not what I wanted." Also, I love Alpine but the Sinister Six is U-G-L-Y. when you can make your own body of a car, why would you choose that? ------------- people who live in glass houses sink ships
