hey im kinda new to this whole forum but i took it upon myself to convert my 1991 ford ranger 60/40 bench seats with arm rest into a lower, sleeker style kind of seats.. about last week i cut out the armrest and decided to go through with cutting my headrests off... take a look and tell me what you think...
BEFORE
after cutting the headrest
after cutting the foam and taping it back
after putting seat cover back
a lil before and after look
what do you all think???

thats great untill you get in to an accident and you neck snaps in half because theres nothing for your head to rebound off of, but other than that it looks cool. what did you do with the extra material left over from where the head rest was?

bring back the rotary phone so i dont have to press 1 to proceed in english
i was goin to cut and sew where the headrest was to make it look clean but when i pushed the excess into the backrest to measure where to cut i noticed that it looks good without the sewing and everything... plus now i have a lil secret pocket behind the seat which looks pretty cool

Yea, should you get rear-ended I hope you have a pretty tough neck. Be careful.
Excellent work on the project though.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

looks good, but I'm with everyone else - add some headrests. Do the seats back all the way up to the back wall?
