So ya i haven't seen any new threads in a while so i figured id get you guys' opinions. I have 2 10" power acoustic subs with a blitz audio amp. I made two custom fglass boxes for them that fit into the pockets toward the opening of my trunk (94 lincoln mark 8) the first 1 i made i thought looked nice but wen i finished the 2nd 1 i realized the first was terrible, because the 2nd attemp came out pretty awesome due to realizing what worked and what didn't. Last night i ended up buying a lot of stuff from this kid that was moving. I got 2 12" kickers at 400 rms each in a pretty huge custom box with a california or sumthin like that amp, another 4 channel amp of same brand, 2 older style jbl door speakers that had never been used, miscellaneous other used speakers, all the wiring kits needed, and a jensen 4 disc changer headunit all for $175. So my question to you guys is should i keep my existing stuff and sell the stuff i bought last night or should i keep some of the stuff from last night an sell the stuff i had which would cause me to scrap the fglass subs cuz idk ne1 else wit a mark 8. (i have a clarion autopc as a head unit an 2 alpine type r 6x9s in the rear). What ever i end up selling what do you guyz think the stuff would go for. And to keep this kinda on topic with fiberglassing if i keep the kickers i was planning on fglassing over the box as i do not like the shape of it (wide at bottom and comes to point at top). Sorry for being so long winded

Don't discount the PAs so easily. As for the Blitz amp, it's ok but nothing to brag about.

It's all about the install. One of our guys has only 1000 watts going into two 10" no name (literally) subs but hitting 143 db on 30 second burps with no clipping. An H2 we worked on last we heard hit 150+ on 1000 watts on Memphis equipment.

Our recommendation is to keep whichever subs you think would look nice. As for the amps... take the Blitz over the California Audio. CAs are ok when setup properly, but in our experience, they tend to be more sensitive to vibrations and causing damage to the RCA receivers inside them. If the amp is not going to be feeling too much vibration from the subs, then again either or will be fine. Once installed, have everything gain-set with someone who can tune systems properly (not by ear- if you can hear the distortion there is at least 20% distortion on it.)
