I am making a rectangular box for a power supply project from school and want to be able to screw and unscrew the sides and walls and such and make it look at professional as possible so I am seeking your help.  I have some pictures on my computer case and its mounting style, I want it to be the exact same or equally as cool.  Im just having a heck of a time locating the screws you will see in the picture.  There is a 3/4" x 3/4" block with a indented threaded part that the screws thread into, if I can locate the threaded part that gets inserted into the plexi block so i can screw my box together i will be able to hit the ground running :)

Any idea's???

ah... why not just run the tap into the plastic box? you won't be able to torque on it at all... otherthan that i'd look for a local wood working shop... they use that pocketed female thread for putting together pillars for single leg inntables and whatnot. i wish i knew what the hell the thing was called.

alterntaively, why not just cut out a round, put a nut in, fill with clear epoxy and call it good enough? lol. the epoxy would be covered up by the size of the bolt running in.

uhm... got a metal lathe? lol. you could always turn a brass hex nut till it was round. heh.

still looking: found this under 'fasteners'
