hi i am looking for some wood grane gray...just the other day on unique whips they did it in a guys cadillac exv ware can i find them off the wall wood grains...?

its an aging process. not sure off hand. i've worked with wood a bit, and i can't think of one thats grey... not without chemical assistance anyways. heh. good luck. try deck shops, where they sell laquers and whatnot to seal porches and decks. they'd know if there was a way to turn wood grey (give it an antiqued look).

you can send off your plastic pieces to a shop called tuner racing and they can dip it to any color,  its tunerracing.com

im not sure if this is going to help any, but you can turn pine grey by wiping it down with rubbing alcohol. thats all i got on this.

and you could probably find more information if you spelled grain correctly

You can only achieve colors like grey's and such by using a stain or dye, grey usually is a black stain with additives that are wiped off fairly quickly. I work in an automotive woodworking company and we do this grey or charcoal on Bentleys with grey Birds Eye wood trims.

Unique sends those interior trim pieces off to get dipped by one of those water transfer film places. Its not real wood, i dont think.
