Hey does everyone know the two ps2 buttons one which opens and closes the tray and the other turns on and off the ps2 and also does everyone know the plugs where u put the contorllers and memory cards in these parts off the old ps2. Well i ripped open the ps2 n got these parts out. What i want to do is mold these parts into a custom dash but how would i mold these parts in perfect enought u can jus see the out line off the buttons n bit where u have to plus the controller in how do you mold around them they are too small for wood so could someone please help me out????

remove everything but the plastics, and just use a bit of epoxy to build it up some. then reinstall the hardware onto the plastics after you bondo and paint. take some picutres so we know what part of the device you're molding. IF you're using just the buttons, take the shell, cut out the area around the buttons, then mold that into the dash, then reinstall the hardware to that. same for the controller ports.

I'd draw you a picture and send you a 3-D e-mail of it in solidworks but my time vs your ability to glean an understanding of what I am trying to convey is disproportionate, so no.

Yer im just doing the buttons and the controller port so when i cut the plastics out what should i put on there? body filler, resin, fibreglass???? Because im not sure if it will stick to plastics or am i wrong?

usually have to epoxy plastics. rough em up and you can glass up tot that and then bondo sand and paint w/ prmer then regular whatever.

look for a tut on putting a remote flush into a peice ehre on the site, guy posted it recently. he did what you're doing but with different resources.
