I am building an enclosure for 2 15" Kicker Comp vrs. Ok its still pretty chilly outside but i am still working on it. Its time to wrap it. I went to home depot and got Heavy dutty adhesiv spray from 3M also...
I glued the first ring down tite and now I am worrying about this curve or crease its going to create even if stretched tite.

its leaving a bunch of fabric that cant stretch anywhere

You need to add some framing to the shape that you want between the trim rings. Otherwise you pull it tight and it will naturally form a valley between the trim rings.

I would saturate that with some other glue before resining it and finding out that the resin eats that glue and lifts it up. You won't be a happy camper then.

Dont expect the glue to hold if resin is going to touch it. As soon as the chemical reaction starts, resin heats up a LOT. this will cause the glue to let go. Use staples or super glue.

oh yeah. That box may be a lil small for 15" VR's, but I'm not sure. You may need to invert the subs/and or put in some polyfill.

trying to figure how to make the sub ring for my new enclosure for these subs. The mounting diameter is 13 3/4" inches. I got one sheet if 1/2" mdf and 1 sheet of 3/4" mdf..Both sheets are 2ft x 4ft

1 half inch should do it for the flushing ring...I am guessing those subs are hefty so maybe the 3 quarters for the base ring?
Just cut rings to spec with a jigsaw and sand them to make them nice and round, then nail and glue them together

looks better on the second attempt with some support but you might find it hard to stretch still because of how low the subs are angled in the middle, but its worth a shot. just take your time and use patience.

looks good.make sure you saturate that thing good with resin until its shiny. and when you get ready to put fiberglass on it precut it into like 3x3" squares. it gets a little messy when you cut as you go.
