i hope you plan on having boxes attached somehow for those subs, as they arent free air subs, and wont run into the atmostphere.

I would have to say go with high build primer because it is easier to work with and better to paint on. Keep posting updates.

I'm pretty sure those are speakers as you can see the tweets and crossovers. Anyways, looking really good. Keep us updated.

You are using Polk MOMO mid-ranges. The best way (and in my opinion along with the whole shop I am at) is to mount them the forward way. Reversing them will not let sound into the vehicle very well. They'll sound VERY muddy. Mid-range speakers are not amni-directional like MOST subs. They usually have a focused direction of sound. Reversing them does not allow sound to reproduced properly.

As for the install itself. I like to see the end result rather than just the in-progress work usually. You may know of crap-tastic areas that happened during the build, but your audience won't know that. :: wink wink ::

Take Care and Good Luck!

looks good so far! I have to admit I was worried in the beginning, but nice recoverey! I like the build pics. I gives a chance for noobs to learn and veterans may see differnt techniques. I agree on mounting them the regular way.

cone or basket.. depends. do you care about the sound they put out? if not, then by all means show some basket. if however you're like most people and want to actually hear the music, i suggest showing some sweet cone action.

The speakers will sound much better mounted the proper way. A mid is not like a woofer. A woofers sound is non-directional were a mid you can hear were it is coming from. Good job though, your project is turnin out nice
