hey everyone need some help here. i have a 3 Q's

#1 i have 2 ma audio ma80xe 8" (each has 250 rms & 500 max), they are going into my wifes scion xb. So my Q is what amp am i looking for, do i want a 2 channel 500 watt rms. Or should i be looking for a 4 channel amp that will bridge 500 rms

#2 the box im going to build will hold both subs, Q should there be something separating them in the box or leave them open to eachother

#3 im old skool and now all these subs has two + and - terminals on them how should i wire them

i will be posting all my pictures and how i put everything together if i can get some help thanks

#1 - You will either want a 1 or 2 channel amp for the two subs

#2 - It will function the same either way.  But go with seperate chambers to be safe.  If you do this then one of the subs will still work if the other one blows

#3 - That means that it is DVC (Dual Voice Coil) sub.  Do you know what the Impedence is for both of them? They are probably dual 2 or 4 ohms.  One way that you could do it if they are dual 4 is wire the voice coils on each individual sub in parallel then wire both of the subs in series, giving you a single 4 Ohm load that will work well with either a 2 channel or mono amp.

I hope this helps!

Those subs are dual 4ohm 8's - so what bballguy162006 said should be fine. But it depends on what impedance the amp you get will take.
