Which gives more bass in a trunk? Ported or sealed? Does it depend on the sub?

That all depends on the sub & your amp combination. Sealed enclosures can be smaller but require a little more power, ported boxes are usually a little bigger and more efficient.

depends on wether you are porting directly into the cabin and the size of the sub, amp(should match power) and the trunk space you are willing to loose. If  you get to loud you will also get trunk rattle and if enough presure the trunk seals will fart ( thats the release of the air presure the sub creates)

information is the key to solving problems
