I have a '90 ford festiva and i don't have much to choose from for a body kit, or any accessories for that matter, so i was planning on making one. i was going to start with a foam block and sand it and cut it down into the shape of what i want, and fiberglass it, but i was reading about the fiberglass enclosures and there were a few extra steps i was unaware of during the fiberglassing process, anyone have any information for me? recommendations of what to use? any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks guys!

Wrap it with fiberglass matting...resin...fill and sand...repete any steps as nessecary.. really no other steps for a bumper.

If this is going to be an actual replacement for the steel bumper and not a cover I don't reccomend driving it on public roads. The engine might end up in your lap....and a very low speed impact will destroy it and perhaps the radiator at least.
