I made a false floor from MDF and want to coat it with this stuff but I have never had any experiance with it.  Will the MDF just suck this up like normal paint or will it layer ontop of the MDF?

If you are concerned with the MDF soaking up the paint, you could throw on a layer of primer, that might help.

I would recommend using sealer instead of primer or a primer/sealer. Most MDF is already finished on the sides for painting, but adding a coat of sealer really helps it along.
