If you want ideas you can go to cardomain.com or even to manufacturer sites and look at their project vehicles or customer vehicles.

agreed, it's very difficult to give you ideas without pics and more specific goals.  But right off, I'm gonna say it's gonna be harder to do a ported or bandpass box out of fiberglass.  I'd consider doing a sealed enclosure for better sound quality, smaller space requirements, and flexibility in terms of where you can place it.  Sure, it won't be rumbling bass, but it will be tighter and cleaner in a sealed enclosure...

I agree, it's better to get your ideas from pics on the net, from magazines or by going to car shows and talking to other people.  Knowledge is power!!!  That aside, you could build your ported enclosure and run the port(s) through the rear deck.  If you want loud then you want ported.  I have a sealed wall, and it is a cleaner, tighter bass, but with your subs in the trunk I don't think you will notice a difference as far as sound clarity.  Be creative, some of the craziest ideas are the ones that get the publicity.  Hope this helps!
