this was my first fiberglass project i'm eventully ganna do my back doors and sub layout,

i used the original panels and clay to mould the shape i wanted, then put mould release all over it and glassed it to make a mould. then just layed up the mould, took it out and sanded, sprayed it ect..

Is this the quickest way to do it without going dodgy?

The truth about custom installs is that there is no "quickest" way to get things done. It's all about the detail and how much effort you put into it. For the MOST part, the techniques you used generally are among the fastest ways of getting it done, but depending on the install itself (details and exact procedures you followed) More often than not, this technique tends to develop weaker projects particularly around the edges where the glass ends and vinyl/plastics begin. Usually it stresses and cracks around the edges of the FG.

These problems may not apply to you though. This is just the case that we see most often but since we do not know the exact procedures that you used, you may not have any of the problems mentioned above.

Ganbatte ne!

ps. from what can be seen in the pictures (they are a bit blurry or I'm just that tired now) it looks like a clean install. I hope the rest of your intall(s) go as good or better for you. ^-^
