ok, so, i'm fairly new to this site-love it! i've been into car audio, especially building boxes for my friends for years (i hate pre-fabs). and, i've always used glass on the inside to strengthen the walls, but have never really had a chance to get into custom glassing. so, i thought i would start small, and move on from there. let me know what you think.
first, the base:

then, the rings and dividers:

and fleece;

and a couple of layers of fiberglass mesh for strength (only did 3-4 layers, i really didn't need it too strong)

then, the gelcoat ( i didn't really have to, i was planning to carpet, but i figured the practice couldn't hurt) and, i know, it was a little thin.

some nice matching carpet:

and, tah-dah!!
well, i still need to fill in the middle holes with a matching pair of mb quart 8's:

so, feel free to compliment/ critique (except for the hanging wires, i was tired and stopped here for the day). Always looking for input on how to make it better.
my next project will be redoing my center channel, and maybe next year- i'll redo the sub box in glass. thanks for looking [D)]
