I decided to add a couple layers of kevlar to my box. I got a 6.5oz, 11 sq feet for $17 shipped. Was that a good deal?

Kevlar isn't cheap stuff. The cheapest real deal stuff costs about $30-40 retail + s/h. The best stuff can cost as much as $80 yard retail.

If it is real kevlar, then you found yourself a steal! Good job!

I finally found some info on what i bought and it usually cost 50 a yard.
