sunvisors possible with fiberglass?

Would it be possible to fiberglass sunvisors????  I was thinking about wrapping them with fabric but it seems a little complex...So I was thinking what about fiberglass and then paint them......Think it would work????

It would not be unreasonable to strip the cloth covering from your sunvisors and then coat the inside material with several coats of resin.  All of the visors ive done work on utilize a pressed paper or wooden like material.  This pressed paper/wood material soaks liquid a little, so make your first coat thin and let it fully cure before adding good thick heavy build coats of resin onto them.  This will help the pressed material from buckling, warping, and / or delaminating itself of layers.  As for the metal post part that you secure the material to can be coated along with it, so that there are not ugly seams.  Once your desired thickness is built up, sand it down smoothly.....and do what you want from here.....

There is another way....it involves constructing a mold a little larger than the visor section...brush and let 1 layer of resin cure, again, to avoid panel warp....once cured, set the visor in the mold.....pour in resin to fill the mold to embed the visor section....once cured, remove visor.....shape the fiberglass as desired.....ect, ect....
