I have a 2006 reg cab f150 and i an alpine type r 10".  I was wondering in anyone has plans for a good sounding sub box for it.  for me the type R mounting depth is the problem.  I would like to have a ported box but i can live with a sealed one.  I have it in a crappy box now and would like to build something as soon as possible.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Haha...theres a considerable difference between the '96 and the '06. I dont think the Type R would EVER fit in a '96 without some serious massaging. I have seen some pretty big subs behind the seat of a '06 and I dont see why the Type R wouldnt fit. Try to build the box where the sub sits as close to the floor as possible. That should give you plenty of room. If all else fails, take all the carpet and stuff off the back wall...that should net you another 1/2 inch or so. Also, I dont think you're gonna have enough room to do the vented box, unless you take up all the room behind the seat. Good luck and hope this helps.
