Anyone ever used this part, every other post I found in other forums about this item says it works great. However I hooked it up today to a Motorola HF850 and there is background static whenever it is active, the noise is there even when the output wires from the bluetooh unit is disconnected. I tried putting an LOC between both the HF850 and the GMCSS-3, and then between the GMCSS-3 and the factory radio...it udjusts the level of the call but does nothing to the static. Any suggestions?

Have you tried contacting cell site directly? The guys there are usually very helpful and know their products well. I havent spoken to them in a while but I used to talk to a guy named Heath (800) 937-6644

We had the same problem, we went through two of the interfaces, with no luck. Same static noise. We wound up refunding the customer her money.
