A little project i have been working on calls for a MRF455a power transistor does any know If there is another

transistor that can be used for a replacement in a NTE,2SC,SD brand.

There are many like transistors. The SD1446 is a good one as well as the 2sc2290. RFParts carries both I believe.

I would avoid NTE parts for power transistor applications. They are very easy to blow out.

Thanks for the info I had went with SD 1446 I think it serves my project better
