I have installed an aftermarket stereo in a Chevy Express. The stereo comes with a bluetooth hands free adapter which mutes the music and routes the cell phone audio to the car speakers while on a call.

I need a way to also mute a two way radio (disconnect the speaker) when I am on a phone call. I need a device that can be programmed to detect a specific cell phones bluetooth activity and provide a relay contact closure. Any ideas?

I've never heard of such device. Plus, cell phone signals are different depending on your cell provider...(GSM, CDMA)
What you could do is wire a switch to break continuity using relays. But, it won't be automatic.
Sorry, but I don't think that's what you wanted to hear.

Well, if it was a third party bluetooth adapter (i.e. Motorola IHF 1000) those devices have a mute wire that can trigger a relay when a call is in progress. Since your Bluetooth is integral to the new head unit, I doubt it has one.
