I connected the CK3100 with a recommended wiring harness. When the harness ground is hooked up the CK3100 works fine but the factory radio doesn't. Disconnect the harness ground and the radio works fine and the CK3100 doesn't work. What's going on?

Not sure, but why not just cut the wire, so that radio works.  Then ground the end going into the parrot, so it works also.

The wire you refer to cutting, is that the ground from the factory installed radio? The ground that's creating the problem is from the wiring harness between the radio and the parrot. It has to be hooked up to make the parrot work but it crashes the radio when it is hooked up.
