Installed a parrot 3200 in my "07 Avalon with JBL.  Using the safewireless TOY-JBL1 harness there are 2 amp leads (+/- each) and the instructions are vague as to where they go.  Both safewireless and the manufacturer couldn't answer since they now sell a new harness that doesn't use the amp or speaker leads.  I've wired the speakers after the amp and the sound is very low, but the radio mutes and everything else works 100%.  I'm sure I need to mute the amp with these amp leads but have no idea where they go.  To make matters worse I can't find the amp wiring diagram anywhere but I have one for an 06 landcruiser which I think is the same.

I'm not an installer so go easy on me! ;)

you dont have to use the mute. just install it in between the out puts of the radio and the inputs of the amp.. sometimes you might not use all the wires i recent;y installed one of these in a sequoia. worked like a champ

aw you know what i just realized its a avalon,..... my bad yeah youre kinda in a predicament as these systems are multiplexed . the sound from radio to amp is digital and the amp is like a crossover the 6x9s give you low out put and the dash give you high out put and the back 6x9 give you full range .....you might be able to use the back speakers
