I recently acquired a Ultimate Hands Free Auto 'UBT103' bluetooth hands-free car kit. It's my intention to (try to) install this (successfully) into a 2004 Ford Thunderbird. The car has the factory 6-CD Audiophile (18C815) stereo system (with factory amplifier). I'm wondering if any of the experience installers in this forum's membership here has any experience with either this specific bluetooth interface kit OR with integrating a bluetooth solution into this era's Ford Audiophile sound system?
(It's important to maintain the factory stereo system in this car, as I want to keep it (outwardly) original in appearance and function, therefore replacing the factory stereo system with an aftermarket stereo with integrated bluetooth functionality is NOT an option.
