Hey guys, anyone having any trouble with the so called "radio waves" quoted by the geniuses at Cingular wireless. I hear it through my radio even if the phone is not in the car kit, just sitting in the car. It sounds like morse code. It even comes through the phone on my desk? Help

Ok, here is the solution. Turn the phone off. There is nothing you can do about RF interference except shut it off or get rid of it. You think yours is bad, try using a Nextel 2 way radio next to any computer, radio, computer printer or TV.

I promise to be good.
Tell Darwin I sent you.
I've been sick lately, sorry I won't be on much.
i have lots of issues with motorola v551.
I find that sometimes if you change the control box it actually makes a differance.
I have moved antennas and microphones and spent hour trying to get out that buzz. i was told by a rep at motorola that once Cingular is not using t-mobile sites in New York in 2006 this noise will subside, He told me that this noise is the sound of the phone "checking" the systems.
i just had a customer today tell me that when his limo driver is in the car(with his nextel) the intercom system ticks and ticks. he asked me to make it stop, so i gave his limo driver a VERIZON application.
lets hope he is approved. Verizon, CDMA is the only one that will never buzz or tick on a speaker

I feel your pain with the Nextel phone. Mine seems to work great near speakers until i either recieve a text message a two way call or incoming call then i have all the rf noise anyone would ever want. Im using a i830.
