How do you mean......with head unit? If you mean integration......so it mutes the radio and runs through the sound system? It is possible with certain vehicles. There are companies out there that make harnesses for certain vehicles. If you mean..using buttons on the radio to dial out........not possible.

Not 100% sure but because the alpine cva-1004 has a navigation input I would be almost certain that you could connect the bluetooth c/kit so that it will mute and audio integrate the c/kit audio through the stereo but like "Customautomotiv" said it would be very unlikely that you could operate the c/kit via the head unit .

If you were to go ahead and do this with a head unit like that I would defininately opt for the radio harness but I couldn't tell you where you would find one.
