I used to live in Japan and brought back with me a phone that I was quite fond of. It was a "CDMA" phone from the company AU. I had used this phone in the US during one of my visits before, with their international roaming. The reception was better than my current AT&T/Cingular phone, and it's cooler. So can I just put my Cingular SIM card into the AU phone and start using it? The problem I have run into is the Japanese phone does not have the SIM card accessable behind the battery. I assume I have to take the case apart to get to it. However, there are screws holding it together. They have a Y shaped cut into the head, not an X like a phillips head screw. Where can I get a driver to remove these screws?

if that phone is cdma there is ni sim card.......cingular operates off of the gsm network in the usa......which requires asim card on the west coast. I believe on the east coast....cingular service does not require the use of a sim card.
