Does any know where and how to test for the factory mute wire. The vehicle does have onstar and navi so it should have one correct.

Not really.......But you can use a computer safe test light to prob the back of the radio.

The older style had a dedicated mute wire, but at this point who knows if the 07 does. I've been after the dealer for the wiring on these, but from what I've been told so far, they don't have it yet so I can't help much. It was a gray/black wire on the older style. As suggested grab your meter and get to work ;) Let us know what you come up with,
