I installed a Parrot kit to a Chevy Envoy and now the Onstar doesn't work it is possible that i may need to connect other wires cause i only connected the two front speakers and the mute wire. do you think the mute wire maybe the cause of why the Onstar no longer works. It doesnt work with the car on or off and also with the kit on or off.. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what happen. I hook these up all the time to GM vehicles with On-Star and have yet to have a problem. Where did you get your power's from. Your 12v Acc needs to come off the ingnition switch in th column (brown wire I belive). I would pull the kit out and see if the On-star is ok then use the cell cite GMSS-2 harness with Parrot-1 adapter. It is hard to mess up the install with this harness. Good luck
