I have a 2006 pontiac grand prix with the factory radio.  I want to use a portable navigation system that has bluetooth and an mp3 player.  I would like to wire it in through the cd/aux switch and I need a switched 12v outlet.  I read the post for the 12v on the Yukon so I assume this is similar, but I need more basic instruction.  Also is there an adapter for the radio to change add the aux or do they only work if there is an outside unit - such as 6cd changer or sat radio?

as long as the radio has the 12 pin aux input plug on it.... you should be able to get a GM aux-in adapter.....
