I have a 2007 Mercury Milan that i'm going to be installing a handsfree system for.I looked at both types of mounts, but the Pro-Fit mount instructions say that i'm going to need to trim my radio panel for it to fit, when the Panavise mount states no such thing.Which mount is a better product?

What kind of HFK are you installing, basically both companies make the same kind of mounts.  If I were you I would get the panavise.  We carry both but dont really encounter an issue like that.  Only down side about these mounting brackets is that the wire needs to go somewhere and you wouldn't want it loose so common sense would tell you to route it inside but then again it make the panel wider.  If you need help on installing it do not hesitate to ask since these kits are one of my many trade skills.

The only real benefit to the Profit is the instructions usually have better pictures.  You can search for the instructions for either brand on their web sties.

Otherwise they are very similar normally.  I am not familiar with the kits for your specific vehicle.  Sometimes they are not in exactly the same locations.  Look on their web sites at the directions to help you decide which to get.  I try to stay away from the new Profits with the universal joint since they always seem to loosen up.

I gotta say the Panavise works better for me.
