My cousin and I are trying to figure out a problem, he's going for the chrome/clear grill look...it order to do this he got some led signal bulbs, not the small 194s but the larger one for the parking lights, there is one per side. After installation, the turn signal flashes way too fast. This is a 2000 silverado, and I think the signal flasher and emergency flasher are one in the same, althought the emergency flashing seems to flash at the normal rate. The flasher is electronic. Is a way to slow down the turn signal rate with resistors or another type of modifaction, in order to use these bulbs. Thank you

Hello, www.8000mcd.com Home of Ultra Bright White LEDs for $1.35USD To answer your question YES you are going to have to use a "Dummy Load" Resistor to fix the flash rate problem. If you need a value of the resistor, I would try using a 390ohm resistor if you have one around. I don't know the exact value but it should improve with that one in place.
