I have a pair of 24 volt led day runners that I want to run on my 12 volt ute, is there any way that i can do this, I've wired them like normal with a relay and switch, but they are very dull not bright at all, any help or suggestions would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

You would need some kind of DC-to-DC converter, rated for the wattage of those lights. For example, find a device that accepts 12vdc, and outputs 24vdc at 5watts, or however many you need. Should be easy and inexpensive considering LEDs don't take much power. Attach the converter downstream of the relay, shouldn't have to change your wiring much.

I don't know of a better place to find such a thing, but we order stuff from Newark all the time. Here are a couple to choose from. Notice the 1w and 3w flavors are pretty cheap at only $15 each. I don't know the wattage of your lamps though, so the converter might get expensive if you need more power.
